Self Worth "You Are So Much More"

Day by day,
I trudge along,
Replaying the moments to my own song,
The rhythm is fast then fades too slow,
Leaving me left with no where to go,
The beat picks up and I regain my vibe,
Here I am, just trying to stay alive,
Thinking so much my head might explode,
Ready to break down from extreme overload,
I wasn't enough or so I thought,
Fighting each day against everything I had been taught,
A tainted view that wasn't my own,
An adopted belief, begging for relief,
A falter in my step now shaking my faith,
What was I doing believing in lies,
Ignoring all of my spiritual outcries,
Waiting to be released from all I had known,
because I am so much more
than what I have been shown.

“You will never”... how many of you have been told that, said that or worse, believed in that? Who you become; what you have, what you think and feel these are all things that are based around one capability. A capability I might add, that we all possess. This is the ability to make a decision. Not a decision for your parents, your siblings, your friends, but for YOU. It’s that simple. You see something, you go for it.
